This winter I’ve had the opportunity to work on some great records that will be released in the Spring.
Firstly, I mixed the debut LP by SW/MM/NG, an indie rock band from Fayetteville, Arkansas. Shimmery guitars, powerful vocals, and thumping drums. Very excited for this one to come out in the Spring on Old Flame Records. Catch them on their West Coast tour this Spring and at SXSW.
This winter I also co-produced and recorded an LP for Abakis, which is the namesake of Aba Kiser’s musical project. She wrote some beautiful songs that range from soaring, soul-infused Americana tracks to haunted, hushed folk tones. Great players and great arrangements. Stay tuned for more news on this one as it should be out in the summer.
Currently, I’m wrapping up work on Throw Vision’s new 7″ featuring two brand new songs. This should also see release in the Spring.
